Q. Your classes sound great! How do I sign my child up?

 A. ​Awesome! We can set up a class at your child's daycare center or school. Send us an email at hello(at)seedartstudio.com and we can set that up. You can register for our pop-up classes through the registration forms. 

​Q. Are your classes English language lessons?

A. To be clear, our classes are not language classes, per se. While students are learning about and making art, they’re also learning a English alongside it. The key word is integration.

Q. What can we expect from the language learning process? 

A. Because English is a foreign language to many, children may initially feel shy and unsure, which is natural and expected. We hope to warmly encourage them with helpful gestures and positive body language (read: smiles!) at first, but over time, in the process of making art and experimenting with materials, new linguistic competencies will rise to the surface.

Chances are your little ones will be having too much fun to realize they are picking up a new language:) ​

​Q. Do you speak Finnish?

A.  Yes. My Finnish-speaking skills are basic but my comprehension is better:)

Q. What happens if my child misses a lesson?

A. Because our class packages are structured within a short time frame, we do not offer refunds.

Q. What does English immersion look like in Seed Art Studio's classes?

A. The native-English speaking teacher runs the art classes using the English language! We speak slower, repeat phrases often, and use many gestures, visual aids and props to help get our messages across.
